We won the first ever fourth division fifty years ago playing in stripes. :hi:

and how long do we have to go back for a vale promotion in a Black/White non striped shirt eh eh

Bet it's not over half a century - the facts speak for themselves

The last time we won promotion from the bottom tier was when we beat Stockport away and we wore yellow and green...we dunner wear yellow and green. :D

and you, Mr Tosh will be to blame if we don't get promoted in May 2009

Well, if it takes the pressure of Lee, you and the 'alleged' four dodgy directors can blame me with no problems.

The pinstripes don't count, that was the current trend at the time in the eighties, just like the psychadaelic Kalamazoo kit of the nineties (also awful).

As I've said all along, I've no problem with the aesthetics of the strip, but it isn't a Vale strip, just as an all white strip with bacl trim wouldn't be a Newcastle United strip.

Well, the metrosexuals and perverts have led us into ignominy and strife.

Didn't we say this was where it would lead? Didn't we? (If we didn't we were definitely thinking it).

Stripes and BBC 3... Jesus H corbett, is it any wonder I drink.
The myth of the free man in the un-free world.
And bleurgh, too.

It was always bound to happen.

Heaven and the Gods have been put out of kilter, nothing will improve until we go back to a plain white shirt.

Come on BB, you know it makes sense!
KEEP THE VALE SHIRTS WHITE!

I've seen all good people turn their heads each day..

...so satisfied I'm on my way.

The question is - can the club afford the required amount of liquid paper to turn things around and rid our club of this horrendous mosntrosity

Word on the other side is that we're keeping the stripes for a second season

The Five Towns lie close to the heart of dear old England. They spread across the face of the countryside for many miles. Proud, unique and indispensable.

Do you drink from the cup? Do you eat from the plate? You have The Five Towns to thank for that. The Five Towns stand for progress and civilization.

When our story begins, Bursley was the largest of The Five, and it was also the proudest. Admittedly, it's atmosphere was inclined to be heavy, but some remarkable people breathed it.
