Hi Vale fans.
Firstly, I apoligise if I have posted this in the wrong section - I am new to these boards, as you may have guessed (IMG:http://www.portvaleonline.com/forum/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Anyway, I am a Walsall fan and should be coming up for the friendly at your place in August. I know that I need to get to Burslem town centre then it's a walk from there. But from Stoke station, which bus do I catch? I hope you help. Cheers. |

Hi there,
You'll need to get two buses. The 23 or 23a from stoke to hanley. Then from hanley you'll need to get either the 20 or 20a. I think theres a 21 you can get from hanley to burslem also. For more specifics check this journey planner See you there! |

Pretty much all the buses from outside Stoke station (turn left out of the main doors) go to Hanley.
From Hanley bus station definitely the 20 and the 21 (maybe even some other 20s) go through Burslem. You can get off the bus just after the big crossroads outside a strange modern building called Ceramica. From there it's a shortish walk (5 mins). There should be people wearing Vale shirts who you can follow. TBH there is never a great deal of people who get buses to Vale. -------------------- "Do the things that just don't matter,

You can get the 21 straight from Stoke to Burslem, when you come out of the railway station turn left and walk right to the end of that road and turn right you'll need the bus stop on the other side of the road opposite Signal Radio (it's only a couple of mins walk) and then get off at the big traffic lights by Ceramica (anyone on the bus will be able to tell you where to get off it - even the driver if he's not Polish)

The taxi from Stoke station is only about £6 so its easier, quicker, and not much more expensive to do that if you're with a few mates.
It only takes an hour to walk it (IMG:http://www.portvaleonline.com/forum/style_emoticons/default/fool.gif) (IMG:http://www.portvaleonline.com/forum/style_emoticons/default/Spank.gif) |

The main question is, do you say bus or buz?
I say bus, but that's because I know how to talk properly. -------------------- We must fight in the war against wreckers of law and order. Nice of you to reply so politely!
A deserved win for your lot today I thought. We couldn't cope with the two brutes up front. |
